Mark Master Masons · No. 1998
Country traditions. Mark fellowship.
Latest from St Hubert's
The Lodge
St Hubert's brings together Mark Master Masons who share an affection for the countryside, field sports and the easy fellowship of a good lodge evening.
Consecrated on 10 November 2018
Our identity is quietly distinctive. The ceremonies and traditions of Mark Masonry remain at the heart of the lodge, while our shared rural interests give meetings, visits and social occasions their own unmistakable warmth.
Our Character
Shooting, fishing, farming, conservation, working dogs and country pursuits are woven into the friendships of the lodge. Participation is never a condition of membership. A respect for rural life and good company is quite enough.
St Hubert
Our lodge takes its name from St Hubert, a figure long associated with hunting, woodsmen and respect for the natural world.
The name reflects more than field sports. It speaks of companionship, responsibility, tradition and a proper regard for the countryside that brings us together.
“A country lodge founded upon friendship and marked by good fellowship.”
The Mark Degree
The Degree of Mark Master Mason is admired for its warmth, humanity and memorable ritual. Its lessons concern perseverance, merit and the value of each man's contribution. It is often described as one of the friendliest Orders in Freemasonry, and nowhere is that spirit more evident than at St Hubert's.
The Worshipful Master
St Hubert's Lodge No. 1998
The Worshipful Master leads the lodge through its year, supported by the officers and members of St Hubert's.
Current Officers
St Hubert's meets on the third Saturday in March, June and September.
Past Masters
The character of St Hubert's has been shaped by the brethren who have served in the Chair of Adoniram.
“Visitors arrive as guests and leave as friends.”
Visit St Hubert's
Visiting brethren and Mark Master Masons interested in joining the lodge are always assured of a warm welcome.
